Nordic Greenhouse teams in selection

Nordic Greenhouse teams in selection

The selection of next year’s Greenhouse incubation programme teams is on the way – now interviews of the applicants are taking place and final decisions of the chosen teams will be made before January 2018. This year the Greenhouse programme aroused interest in all participating Nordic countries:

  • Denmark, DTU + Aarhus University: 18 applications
  • Finland, Aalto University: 14 applications
  • Sweden, Chalmers + Lund: 15 applications
  • Norway, NTNU: 14 applications

Greenhouse is part of Europe’s biggest climate innovation initiative Climate-KIC. Greenhouse pre-incubation programme searches for green business ideas that can be taken on a next level during the six months of business coaching and networking.

‘I believe that next year opens a new level of collaboration with our Nordic partners. I’m personally very happy that we got so many top level applicants motivated to create new climate solutions – I look forward to working with the teams’, says Chief Impact Officer Ville Luukkanen from Impact Iglu.

In 2018, Impact Iglu leads all entrepreneurial activities of Climate-KIC in Aalto University, including a business accelerator and ClimateLaunchpad contest.
